Affiliate Links

NTV is free and has no account. A band's page carries two kinds of link out: tickets for the shows it has coming up, and the band's records and merch in a shop. Both can earn NTV a commission.

NTV may earn from those links

These are affiliate links. If you buy after following one, the seller may pay NTV a small commission. You pay the same price either way, and the purchase happens entirely on the seller's site, under their terms.

Links like these are marked on the page with a line saying NTV may earn, and they are tagged for search engines as sponsored.

Merch and records

As an Amazon Associate, NTV earns from qualifying purchases. The "Merch & Vinyl" tiles on a band's page are searches of Amazon's own shop — vinyl, CDs, shirts, hoodies and prints for that band — carrying NTV's Amazon store tag. NTV does not stock, sell, pack or post anything, and has nothing to do with your order, your payment or your delivery: that is between you and Amazon, or whichever shop on Amazon the item turns out to belong to.

eBay. Where a band's shirts are shown with photographs and prices, those listings come from eBay through the eBay Partner Network, and NTV may earn a commission if you buy after following one. The seller is an eBay seller, not NTV: the condition, the price, the delivery and any auction are theirs, and a listing can end or change at any time. NTV does not check listings by hand and does not vouch for any seller.

What those searches show, and what it costs, is Amazon's to decide and can change at any moment. NTV does not see prices or stock, and never sees what you bought: Amazon reports only totals, with no names and no orders attached. Some bands have a great deal on Amazon and some have almost nothing — a thin page of results means nobody is selling that band there, not that NTV left anything out.

What decides what you see

Tour dates come from Ticketmaster's public listings and are shown for the band you opened, soonest first, with shows near you put first. The merch tiles are built from the band's name and nothing else. Nobody pays to appear on a band's page, no band, label or shop has any say in what NTV plays, and a band's videos play the same whether or not it is touring or selling anything.

Where the dates come from

Dates, venues and prices are Ticketmaster's and are refreshed about twice a day, so they can lag behind a change. Always check the details on the ticket page before you buy.

Sold-out shows

When a show has sold out, its link can go to resale listings on StubHub instead. Resale prices are set by the people selling and can be well above face value, so compare before you buy.
