About
NTV is a music television network. Sixty channels run on a real seven-day timetable — every channel's day starts at 06:00 and every minute belongs to a scheduled block — and what plays is the official upload on YouTube, from the label or the band's own channel. It is free, there is no account, and there is nothing to install.
What is here
Sixty channels by genre and decade, a programme guide for all of them, and a page of its own for every act NTV plays — more than three and a half thousand of them — with its videos, the shows it has coming up, and its records and merch. There is a record store, a concerts directory, and a page of what was added this week.
Who publishes it
NTV is independent, and it is one person's work rather than a company's: the schedule, the channels, the artwork and the code. It is not owned by a label, a promoter or a shop, and nobody pays to be played. It has been running since 2026 and is added to most weeks. Editorial and business questions both go to the address below, and are answered by the person who runs it.
Where the videos come from
Every video plays from YouTube, in YouTube's own privacy-enhanced player, and only ever from an official source — a label channel, an artist channel or an official archive. NTV hosts no video, re-encodes nothing and uploads nothing. A video's views, its advertising and its rights stay with whoever uploaded it, exactly as they would on YouTube itself. Nothing is scraped, nothing is re-published, and nothing plays that its rights holder has not put on YouTube to be played.
What NTV adds is the part a search box cannot: a schedule. Deciding what follows what, at what hour, on which channel, is editorial work, and it is the reason to come here rather than type a band's name into YouTube.
How it pays for itself
NTV is free and carries no advertising of its own. It can earn a commission when somebody buys a ticket or a record after following a link from a band's page — the price is the same either way. That is set out in full on the affiliate links page, and every such link is marked on the page and tagged as sponsored for search engines.
Contact
For anything at all — a correction, a takedown, a band that is missing, a wrong tour date, a press or partnership question — write to [email protected]. It is read by a person and answered.
Rights holders: if you are a label, an artist or a manager and you would rather NTV did not carry a video or an act, say so at that address and it is removed. No form, no process, no argument.
What NTV keeps, and what it does not, is on the privacy page.
