Yazoo

English synth-pop duo

Yazoo were an English synth-pop duo from Basildon, Essex, formed in late 1981 by Alison Moyet (vocals) and Vince Clarke (keyboards) after his departure from Depeche Mode. The pair released two albums, Upstairs at Eric's (1982) and You and Me Both (1983).
